Bamford Brings Up Century Of Chelsea Loanee Goals

It’s been relatively inevitable for a while now, but Chelsea’s assortment of players out on loan – currently 31 – have hit a particularly big milestone this evening.

Patrick Bamford’s goal inside of one minute for Derby County against Ipswich Town was the 100th goal scored by a young Blue playing for another club during the 2013-14 season. It was perhaps appropriate that the England Under-21 hitman grabbed the goal as he leads the way with 23 of them; almost a quarter of the total and one of the highlights of the season.

Romelu Lukaku has already made it 101 and with some two months or so left in the season yet, the running total will almost certainly increase. Here’s how the 100 were scored (ignoring Lukaku’s latest effort):
