Vote Your MOTM: Arsenal

December 28, 2010

For many weeks now we’ve been looking at our performances, and not seeing what we’re used to seeing. The team appears disjointed and despite seeing ‘improvements’ in players, or passages of play, it’s just not good enough overall. Arsenal earned a deserved win over us for sure, but who was your best Chelsea player on the day? [fppp_display_poll] Check out our fantastic NEW Chelsea T-Shirts site at – the best…

Vote Your MOTM: Tottenham

December 12, 2010

An absorbing match at White Hart lane saw Chelsea come away with a point, yet had it not been for a late Didier Drogba penalty miss, we could have won the match. The goal came courtesy of Drogba, and poor keeping by Gomes, and Chelsea on the whole looked better than in recent weeks. You voted the man of the match for Tottenham as John Terry. Thanks for voting. VOTING…

Vote Your MOTM: Marseilles

December 8, 2010

So another match and another defeat, thankfully in a match where nothing other than a record was at stake. We’re through to the next round as group winners, but qualification does little to mask the problems on the pitch at present. Despite this, who did you think was the best player on the day? You voted the man of the match for Marseilles as Josh McEachran. Thanks for voting. VOTING…

Vote Your MOTM: Everton

December 4, 2010

So the blip continues with two dropped points at home to Everton this afternoon. We’d had the lead courtesy of a Drogba penalty, as well as dominating the first half, however the second half was another story, with Everton rampant and Chelsea on the back foot. Despite the setback, who did you think performed the best in a blue shirt? You voted the man of the match for Everton as…

Vote Your MOTM: Newcastle

November 28, 2010

Our poor away record continues with a draw away to Newcastle at St James Park. As with the Birmingham match, we had a lot of possession yet couldn’t make it count. It’s clear that we’re missing players, and this is a point more than gained in the last Premiership match, but four points from the last 15 is not the form of champions. You voted the man of the match…

Vote Your MOTM: MSK Zilina

November 23, 2010

Well that was a close call, or was it? The Stats would suggest otherwise with 31 shots on goal, bringing 9 on target, 12 corners, and 60% possession. Chelsea were undone by a good goal, however showed resilience enough to recover the match, especially considering the average age of the team. Who do you think was the best player? You voted the man of the match for Zilina as Patrick…

Vote Your MOTM: Birmingham

November 20, 2010

Around 20 shots on goal, over 15 corners and despite having Drogba, Anelka, Kalou, Malouda and Sturridge on the pitch, we still couldn’t find a way to put the ball in the back of the net. The defeat to Birmingham is the first time in over four years that Chelsea have lost two in a row, so even though we lost the match, please vote and let us know who…

Vote Your MOTM: Sunderland

November 15, 2010

It’s a bit of a crap game to be kicking this feature off with as it’s not often we lose 3-0 at home, to Sunderland of all teams! Yet we’ll get over it I’m sure, plenty of us have seen far worse, so suck it up and let us know who you thought was MOTM against Sunderland. This weeks winner is Petr Cech, by a clear margin! Thanks for voting….
